Installed my 40 in. light bar in my bumper and had that thought of what if I need to be pulled from the front. Deer hunt in Georgia so sure enough if the hooks are not there I will need them. Bought a set of 5500 tow hooks off eBay. Rear bolt installs where snow plow bracket was. The front I had a piece of DOM welded to the front of the frame so the front bolt could bolt threw. Used a Dremel to make cutouts of the valance. Definitely looks like over kill but is there such a thing?

Yo Buck, can you take a picture of the mounting points. I returned my 20 Inch and went with the 40 so I'm thinking of doing this too.

Thanks

Can't really see where they are because the hooks are hiding the holes. The back one went into the rear hole of the snow plow bracket. There were two brackets bolted to bottom of frame that I assumed were for a snow plow. I removed them and used the rear hole. The front I grinded my front frame down a little just on the bottom corner and had a piece of pipe welded to the frame. Used the tow hook front whole to locate the exact placement. Of course the front bolt is not as solid as the rear but will keep that in mind if I ever need to use them. Basically I will always try to be pulled straight out. I like them way better than NOTHING.
