hi, NO, still not identified, had no time ...what about you?

I would check the “bearings” at the top and bottom of the shock to rule them out.
That’s what went back on mine. If I had pulled it out and replaced it early when I heard it, it might’ve saved me having to replace the cap/ top mount.

I just got a spare 19mm wrench and cut it in half. Makes life a lot easier.

Got mine installed yesterday. I think that I do have the coil slap sound that others have mentioned with the ICON springs. If I stand on the rear bumper and bounce the truck up & down a bit, I can hear it. When going over bumps, at certain speeds, I can hear it. I don't think mine is that bad or frequent enough to try and remedy it though, I'll just live with it unless it gets worse for some reason.

I listened to your video again. Your noise seems to be damn near constant. Is it loud in the cab? I will say that I shaved quite a bit off the rear upper shock mount frame (outer tab and inner mount), as recommended in the instructions - I think you mentioned that you didn't do that. It got tossed with the boxes, so I don't have it anymore, but there was an insert to the instructions that talked about the upper rear shock mount hitting the frame and making a sound if you don't shave it. Try checking your shock tops and seeing if you have any rubbing marks. I'm sorry, I don't have any other ideas besides what others have mentioned.

EDIT: Also, just to be sure - you did reuse the stock spring isolators on top of the ICON springs, right? I'd imagine if you left those out - it'd make a pretty bad sound. Just another thought that I don't think was mentioned.

Looks like your case differs from mine. on the video the sound is almost constant, but when I'm jumping on the bed, there is no sound, when i'm standing on a hitch and shaking all the track, no noise, just smooth sound of a working shocks.

How i got that video : I decided to pin point where the noise come from , and put Gopro on to a towing platform, after I watched video i can see that sound comes constantly. It depends on the road and speed, when road is bumpy, speed i low , windows are opened you hear this well. When riding fast with windows opened there is no noise (but it exists if you have a look on to video).

I noticed the clunk only because i was installing ICON when the outside temp was about 20 deg. C and surely I was riding with the windows opened. If I do this now when we have -10 deg.C outside i would definetely not opened the windows and noticed clunking only next spring )))

Anyway thank you for your feedback, my plan is to wait untill i can spend as much time as i need to disassemble rear suspencion put new isolators, put plastic tube onto a spring, and see what happened.

For the clear test, try to put gopro under the bed and will see if the noise constant or not.

I agree that our sounds are different for sure. I think that you've got a good plan/idea for a few things to try and hopefully remedy the noise. Sorry man, I don't own a GoPro to be able to put under the bed - I spend too much money on truck parts to buy one of those!
