Learned you don't want to make an adjustment while it's in gear. LOL!
Got a CEL and throttle sensor warning.

I’ve changed mine while sitting at a stoplight several times, and never had an issue. I think I’ve even switched the setting while driving too. Never any warning lights. Something to be aware of though I guess.

Does this help out on a 5.7 2500. Tranny sucks!!!! I keep mine in 3 in town 4 and 5 on highway unless I’m really cruising along
Yes and yes. I have a 2016 2500 with the 5.7 and it made a world of difference. Take the plunge!

I've changed mine settings many times while driving. It's the one way you can REALLY feel the difference.

I change mine while driving, but only when stopped or not on the throttle.

I was sitting at a long light. Used the phone app to bump it a notch. Truck was in D and not moving. Took off and then the dash lit up..

Have any of you experienced towing with the pedal commander? Any difference? I just took my 15' 2500 6.4 with 3.73's for its first tow. I previously had a 16' 1500 5.7 with the 8 speed tranny and 3.92's. The 1500 felt better power wise. I know the PC doesn't add any horsepower, but curious if if helps with the shifting or shift points. The tow haul mode on these trucks doesn't really make a difference in my opinion.

Towed my 34 foot TT over Memorial Day. Use tow/haul and PC in city +2 mode. Thought it improved shift changes and shift intervals were better. Mostly flat ground though. This was right after I had trans recall done. So not sure what effect that had on it..

Thank you for the feedback, yeah I am curious on hills. My 2500 has real spongy gas pedal and doesnt accelerate uphill as good as the 1500 did.

I just got done installing my PC, at first it would not work with my phone using the BT every time I would try to set it up the app would crash. I call PC after and couple of different tries they had me remove the app and reinstalled it and that worked.

Then the CEL came on and was told I didn't wait long enough before installing it and I need to remove it and drive around for a day for the light to clear, not wanting to do that I went to my local Auto zone to use there reader and clear my CEL. When I hook up there reader it read the fault but I was unable to clear it, it turns out that they have there readers setup to read only and was told they could be fine up to $10,000 if they clear a CEL, and I would need to buy my own. They want $60 for there lowest price one. I went home and check Amazon and found one for $26 and it did more then the one Auto zone want to sell me.

Two days later, clear the code and turn my PC back on, all is good now running city +. Looking forward to my trip pulling my camper next week and see how it all works out. My truck has the 6.4 and 4.11s so it really has good power off the line without the PC, I am looking for better throttle response while pulling.

Glad to hear you have it taken care of. Move up to Sport 2. Will take a bit to get used to take offs but Sport will give you the response you want.

I just got back from picking up my camper, and I set my PC to sport 2 and the truck pulled off from a stop like the camper was not even there, keep with traffic, sweet. It's nice to be able to adjuster the TBW to my liking. So tomorrow I will get to see what it dose to my MPG on my trip.

Love mine. I run it at sport +1. I’ll bump it to +2 or +3 tomorrow. I change settings on the fly while driving all the time. No issues, pc31 w/bt.
