I'm new to the forum but am now driving my second Ram truck. It's a 2008 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi quad cab 4x4.
I just installed a Spectre cold air intake kit to my 2008 ram 5.7 Hemi, the metal box that comes with the kit and houses the filter is slightly too tall and my hood doesn't quite close all the way on the passenger side (not enough to really matter, you can barely tell with the naked eye). I've notices other systems on here who have routed the filter to hang down on its own. Any tips on how this is done or where I can find some? I feel like I will notice more from the system if the filter is more free. Any comments?
