2016 Sport with 14500 miles has a bad door seal already. I guess maybe my foot drags against it each time i get in the truck. But i looked today and a hunk was missing.

Possible warranty repair?

I have a new '17 and the door seal leaks going over bumps. It must shift just enough and each little bump you hear it leak for a split second. I looked it up and it seems to be common. Can't see why it wouldn't be a warranty issue. I'm getting mine in for an appointment to get it fixed tomorrow.

Update to the above post.

I did go to the dealer and they found the front of the rear door weather stripping to be out of place. After leaving I took it home on my normal highway drive. Even though the leak is not as severe, over bumps it is still very noticeable. I will be returning to the dealer shortly to address again.

Your bumper to bumper warranty should cover the door seal replacement. We had one replaced on our Jeep that split.

Yes, this is true. Problem is there is no split. I don't know why it's leaking. As I look and compare to the passenger side all looks identical and the passenger side does not have this issue. It may possibly even be a misaligned door or a door that was not formed correctly. It does not look like a faulty seal is all I can say.
