Hey guys hopefully someone can help out with this. My truck is a 2010 Ram 3500 Laramie. I just got the interior out of a wrecked 1500 Longhorn. What I would like to do is to get the interior accent lights or mood lighting whatever it's called working. There's a light by each interior door handle and then one above the pocket in each door. My understanding is the control module in the front doors is different for the trucks that do have the lights. So could I swap those from the parts truck into mine and get them to work? I still have access to the parts truck, so I can get whatever I need from it to make this work. I would rather it work like factory, as opposed to just powering them from the interior lights or what have you.

I have read through those, nobody in those had access to the whole truck. Having said that, I went back today and looked at it. I don't think it's going to be possible to make it work using junkyard parts.

You don’t have the door controllers?

The lights weren't plugged in to those anyway, so I didn't bother to get them. The wiring for the lights was integrated into the main harness going into the cab.
