so my 2015 ram 1500 bighorn rambox been having some weird transmission issues so i decided too trade it it i always wanted a Laramie .............. local dealer as a 2017 Laramie Loghorn but allover it has limited on it .its loaded with ever option under the sun except 2 i can see no front parking sensors ( has rear ) and no folding mirrors im sure theres more .anyways it has 42k on it .but has a check engine light on and says its air suspension and trailer brake issue i seen no trailer brake on it ( if it still the old type that would mount to bottom of dash with a knob on it anyways ) . so should i be weary of those issues .they say there going too fix what ever is it. i haven't bought it yet but did put 4k down on it.

If it's a Longhorn, it will have saddle bag flaps on the map pockets on the back side of the front seats. Should have two tone interior too. That looks like a Limited to me.

It is a Laramie Limited. This is a trim was offered in 2015 and was a Limited with the Laramie accents such as the buckled map pockets but without the two tone interior and paint.

Laramie Limited? Interesting. Never heard of that one. The Laramie never came with the purse flaps though, at least not that I know of. I thought that was a Longhorn only thing.

I’m not sure on trim levels but that truck definitely has a trailer brake controller (bottom left above the console) and air ride suspension.
If you think transmission issues are enough to trade your truck you definitely don’t want air ride.

It's a Laramie longhorn limited. Laramie longhorn has the brown interior, nicer leather and saddle bags.Limited has the same leather and stitching as the longhorn, but black instead of brown. to simplify it's a limited trim. The limited written on the chrome lower trim also confirms this.

I can't find anything about a Laramie Longhorn Limited. Do you have any links to that model?
Mine is a 2017 and the build sheet said Laramie longhorn and then there was an added package that made it a limited. There's really no difference between the normal longhorn and the limited. Might be an option or 2 that was included vs optional on the longhorn, but both fully equipped they're the same apart from interior colour.

The top of my build sheet says "2016 RAM 1500 LONGHORN CREW CAB 4X4".
Then down on page 5 it says "Laramie Limited Group".

So that must be the mouth full they call it. The window sticker just said "Limited Longhorn" with nothing "Laramie" on it that I remember.

Over the years RAM messed around with the naming of their top trims. For a while, they offered the Laramie, Laramie Limited, and Laramie Longhorn. The windows sticker on my 2015 Longhorn reads "Laramie Longhorn".

I read somewhere that RAM wanted to remove the confusion and draw a difference between the Laramie and the two top trims so the birth of RAM "Limited Edition" and RAM "Limited Longhorn Edition" was hatched.

The interior badging in my 2022 reads "Limited Longhorn Edition" and in my 2015 it reads "Laramie Longhorn Edition"

OP, the picture posted is a Limited, look at the badging on the center console arm rest. Also, the truck does have a trailer brake controller. You can see it at the left bottom of the center stack where the center console meets the bottom of the center stack.

Regardless of the semantics of exactly how they label it. The truck the OP is looking at is a limited.
