I have the bastardized 02. Third gen w/ 5.9l. I saw a superchips 3865 on cl for $200. The xtra $65 isnt an issue so should i just go sct from hemifever? Can the sc remove torque management like sean can? Anybody have any comparison between the two on the magnum motor?

No SC won't remove the torque management which sucks....

I have the superchips and have never tried the SCT. I like what the superchips does but if the SCT is as awesome as everyone says I'd go that route. Not knocking the superchips at all because its pretty badass itself. Just my opinion.

Sct is solely a custom tuner. If you want to get it custom tuned go that rout. It tailors the tune to your truck which is great for performance mods. Send Sean an email and see what he can do with it though before going that rout. If its worth it then go for it.

He use to be on here, not sure if he is or not anymore though. He's not to expensive. For his unlimited tuning and revisions its $250 when I got it, but he has written a lot of revisions for my truck. As you add mods or change parts like swapping cams for instance, he will rewrite the tune. He has other packages though on his site
