Last summer we decided to go on a two month camping trip on the Oregon Coast this year. So, we made reservations nine months in advance to the day (the earliest you can make reservations for Oregon State Parks). We were all set, got the sites we wanted and all paid for. Well, then "IT" happened and all parks were closed.
We figured we were out of luck for our planned trip and they started canceling our reservations. Low and behold, the parks are opening up for overnight camping starting the 8th. We are back in business, leaving for Oregon on Thursday for seven weeks on the Coast.
I took the truck and trailer out for a 25 mile test tow yesterday to make sure all was well. The truck and trailer went fine together, no issues. Oregon here we come.
Stopped in Port Gamble (WA) on the way home...
