I was under my truck today and noticed some surface rust below the back passenger corner of the cab, only visible from underneath.

I will be fixing that shortly. Since it's not visible unless you're under the truck I was thinking about using a lineX type paint. Any opinions on that stuff?

Good idea OP, but since you're doubling up on coolant, you will have to remove the coolant from the radiator otherwise the engine might freeze! Just simply replace with water from the hose.
