On 7/6/19 I picked up this brand new 2018 PW down in San Antonio, as the deal was just too good to pass up. I got decent trade-in value for my 2010 (which I absolutely loved). This Power Wagon has just about everything I want and more, but like so many of us, I do have a few mods in mind. This thread is to chronicle those mods over time. I also have to factor in that my beautiful 5'1 wife has to drive this beast when I am traveling for work (I drive her Jeep Grand Cherokee), so I can't go hog wild on the lift. tires, etc. (for now)

    First up!

    KzgE1yoJQYS1IMiX6LDG6A.jpg

    DeeZee Tailgate Assist of course

    Next up:

Thuren front end Leveling Kit (thanks @JB1 for the recommendation)

35x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers (LOVE these tires, best I have ever had)

17x9 (+18-->+25) wheels (might go AEV, debating)

Brighter bulbs all around, inside and out, especially these headlights/foglights/taillights which are as dim as candles sitting on a window sill.

Engine: Leaving the engine alone (at least for first 3 years/warranty period)
Exhaust: Possibly Solo Exhaust Delete kit (thanks @McBroom for the recommendation)

    Hard Tri-fold tonneau, Bakflip G2,etc.
Debating on going with Bakbox (collapsable tool box) as I don't have Ramboxes. I want full access to the bed.

Bed Rug and tailgate rug (separated, not the onesey)

Interior -- handgun mount. nothing else at the moment (even the floor mats rock)

Still need to do initial detail (claybar, any paint correction, wax, sealant)

May ceramic coat, still debating but won't do it until the driveway to my shop is completed (whole different story there...)

Welcome your ideas and comments! Will try to keep posting pics along the way.

Congrats! It's funny when I got my PW I had a set list of stuff and I was gonna be done. Then I've slowly added so many "I wants" it's quickly surpassed what I wanted to do to my 1500...lol It's an awesome rig you're gonna love it!

Beautiful rig! I highly recommend either of the wheels from AEV. I love mine.

Unfortunately that's the old version, I see the screw in ball stud, should be two big brackets, one for the top and bottom. I ordered mine from advance auto parts with an online 25% off coupon, came directly from DeeZee

Just a small suggestion, feel free to mod the engine, just don't do a tuner where the dealership can track any programming. Doing intake and stuff is perfectly reasonable and doesn't void warranty so long as installed properly (best buy a certified mechanic). The Magnusson Moss Act requires dealership to prove in writing whatever you did to the truck caused something to break before they can say they won't warranty it. I dealt with this a couple times during my young tuner days

With the power these 6.4’s put out a tuner really ain’t necessary.
    Do love the color.

Oh wow, now I see what you mean re: brackets. That is night and day strength difference. Thanks!
