But they leak. The point where the exhaust manifold connects to the cats leaks. Any body else have this issue? Or know of a fix?

I know some one had a problem with the bbk shorties leaking too i think you should loosen them from were they connect and wiggle them a little then tighten them to specs. If not some hight heat rtv.

Depending on how bad the leak, Ultra Copper works pretty damned well.
That being said, to me it's more of a band-aid than a fix.

I had a small leak when I did my JBA's too. I loosened the collector bolts and used a floor jack to raise the Y pipe and then tightened them. It worked well.
( If It said that in the other thread- I skipped it since I didn't read 4 pages of a link)

I tried that it didn't work. Only thing I can thing of doing now is going to an exhaust shop and having them fix it. It sucks because it should have worked right the first time without any mod.

I was actually lazy and had a shop install them so I can't answer that. I think I got the leak taking care of. Turns out the bolts that came with the kit were to long. So they bottom out before they were tight enough to make a seal. Replaced them with shorter bolts and it seems like it took care of the problem.
