JET chips?

I was wondering if any of you guys had any experience with JET performance chips or not. I'm thinking about putting a stage 2 on my ram and wanted to know what you guys thought of them!?!?

Do a search kw/tag for Programmer and prepare to be engulfed with great reading material to make you go crazy. It will be for the better though as it will open up a whole array of better programmer choices available for you outside of Jet.

I was just wondering about JET! If they were any good or worked? But by your response im going to say that you think they are not! I was only asking because a friend of mine had bought one for his ram and before he could install it the truck was totaled. He then told me i could have it for $25, seeing as in he bought an f-150.

i have had the jet chip stage 2. it was just ok. if you install it, make sure you put a couple zipties around it to the pcm. i never had the problem.but i read where a couple people had issues with them coming loose. i ziptied mine from the day i put it on.

i have had the superchip 3815, hypertech max energy,jet chip, and now sct custum tunes. sct is the best for performance and the hypertech was best for mpg's. all run on performance tune.

I've had superchip, wasn't pleased with the performance..... One of my diesel buds showed me the bullydog gas tuner, I've had it for 4 months and no problems. I love how it has a display for tranny temps, load readings, airflow, and many more. And the increase in mpg went up by 4mpg after install. I don't think ill own anything other..... Plus the price is unbeatable! Oh and it also reads and clears codes. I got mine for $399....

DSP for your year or SC. SC tends to be the most friendly to use.

Would have to agree w/OlDirty, but then again I am an 03 (Special). They do make good thermostats for our Trucks!

I don't think the JET chips are nearly as good as the Diablo or Superchip


Also, Edge makes a chip for the 07's

I mostly like the display, knowing wat temps are getting too high and it has a driving coach to tell me to slow down lol
