I had a 2015 1500 5.7 and had the upr catch can. It was recommended . It seemed to work. every time I changed the oil, the can was 1/3 filled with oil. Fast forward, its 4 years later so looking for opinions on which one to get, thank you.

You should really read up on them because some are way over priced rip off but that's my opinion. Look at the company Billet . But read reviews on them or you could blow some money.

Should be the same one as your 2015.

Rumor has it, Moes Performance is having BF deals, maybe check them out.

The pcv system takes blowby from the engine and through a tube puts oil fumes n ick back into the engine under the throttle body.
The catch can LITERALLY catches this ick in the can so it can be dumped and not recycled into the engine, gumming up the intake runners and such.
The crap the can catches is amazing!!
I am super happy I have one and can control the gunk going into my motor!!

So the can is spliced into the system between the pcv valve and throttle body?

PCV recirculation has been going on for many years hasn't it? The result of government emissions requirement. Wouldn't manufacturers have started using a filtration for it if was harmful to the engines?

Or does that fall under the, Don't make the product last too long or our sales will go down. category.
Cynicism is a learned wisdom.

Look for Team RXP. Way better than the billet one. Larger and can drain from the bottom. No screwing off a cap and fumbling oil. Pretty sure I have my catch can in my photos.

Yes. It works, get one.
I went with UPR since I have enough dexterity to unscrew a can without spilling.

It won’t kill the engine but buildup can cause reduced power. And vehicles are built around as little maintenance as possible. Hard to believe but I know someone who neglected a mustang and drove it almost 30,000 miles without doing an oil change and blew up the motor. I don’t expect someone to drain a catch can if it was factory.

ahhh! That makes sense. Yes there are many people who don't like to do maintenance.

Personally my money comes too hard to not take care of things to the best of my ability.

I went with JLT just for the fact its small and its mounting location. I had a cheap one from ebay with the z bracket and honestly it performed just as well. I change every oil change 7500 miles and its almost full.
