My new truck is in the shipping yard with an ETA of 4/19/21- /5/3/21. I asked for the Code and they stated they do not give them out anymore. I ordered my Ram 2500 Laramie March 5, 2021

That's great news if their info is correct. Seems awfully quick though, based on what I've heard from others who have ordered. May I ask what trim level and options you ordered? I ordered a Laramie on 2/20 and it's still in the scheduling parts phase, probably due to computer chip shortage affecting the Blind Spot Monitor.

I think that someone maybe cutting it close

Orders must be submitted to the main offices in Auburn Hills Michigan during the first days of the month, it could possibly be the first 10 work days, although i don't know for sure.

Your order was placed with the dealership on a Friday the 5th, if it was placed in the morning, the secretary may have faxed it off before the end of the shift, if not, it was not sent off to headquarters before Monday the 8th . So it may have met that deadline.

Headquarters then double checks everything on the paperwork & it then gets signed off & the parts inventory is checked to make sure that everything is available down in Saltillo Mexico, where Heavy Duty Rams are assembled.

Then they send Your order down to the Saltillo Plant & they have to schedule a date & time to begin building your Ram, that is on a first come first build order, so far everything is nothing but paperwork & for my 2016 Ram, the paperwork stage took a month.
Once the frame is laid, it only takes 2 days to build a Ram, then they all go to be outfitted with things like floor mats, side steps, bed liner, etc.
Then it goes to the Transit yard

So if everything was done in that time limit, May 3rd would be tight but doable

I ordered the Towing Technology Group B, Night Edition, Laramie Level B Equipment Group, Uconnect 12.0 with navigation, Anti Spin Differential Rear, Bed Utility Group, protection Group. My salesman emailed me yesterday that the truck was in KZM status and on the train. I had the Blind Spot Monitor also but they removed it from the Laramie Level Group B.
