Just ordered a Laramie Blackout

On 5/21I pulled the trigger on ording the 19 Ram. Ive waited almost 2 years for this as im sure a lot of you have. Was fighting the temptation of buying a F150.

The most important thing for me was the black appearance package, roof, 12" screen and all the tech i could get my hands on. I even got them to throw a electric pencil sharpener in that bad boy lol jk jk.

I got just about all the options, minus tow pack, 3.91 trans, ram box, bed package, and e torque. I really considered the ram box and e toruqe. Hope I dont regret it.

So here are a few concerns of mine:

- I got the 12" uconnect. Does that mean there's going to be a system error where it adds tow mirrors and takes away my 360 cam. Salesman said no tow package was added to my build, but on the below pic that i built online it made me add the tow mirrors. Dealership said that somethings wrong with the ram site but it would not affect the build they were doing for me.

-Dealership did not know if the black appearance group added the 22" tires and the sports hood. I told them thats the way it comes when added to the Laramie on the website. They said the system didnt show what wheels or hood I would get so they honestly didnt know. Youtube and ramtruck.com say yes it does come with those options, but only time will tell now

I've owned a few monochromatic trucks in the past. As great as they looked new, the painted bumpers and all get sandblasted, chipped over a year or two. Bright/chrome front ends hold up much better, at least here in Florida.

Congrats on the new truck. Just picked up my Bighorn with the blackout package. First of all, the blackout is stunning. Second, without sounding derogatory towards FCA, I think we're all rolling the dice a little bit with the orders. Ordered my truck in January, got it a month ago. Ordering at the dealership was a little vague, and the truck was slightly different than my actual order. I know my dealer isn't at fault, as I have items on my window sticker that are not on the truck. Dealer was great, bought a few Rams prior to this one. Price was right.
I think that there might be some teething issues between the factory, dealers, and customers. One thing I do know, is that the "build your truck " on the web is TOTALLY different from the software the dealer uses to order. I was one of the first people to order in my area, and I've been told a lot of this has been resolved since then. Anyway, don't worry!!!! FCA has been great with my concerns, and on top of that, you've just bought the best truck on the planet! Keep us posted!

As of right now 53 w/ ttl ,but its expected to lower as more rebates come out before it's delivered.

Should take 6-8 weeks. I'm hoping it will be on time since there is no e torque or ram Box

Im really excited but i cant help but feel like somethings going to go wrong after reading the forums

Just YouTube and the dealer says it blacks everything out. The on other way to get black top is to get a limited i believe.

The annoying thing is RAM offers that...in Canada. Body color grille/mirrors/door handles with black headlights and trim is essentially what the Sport trim is. Hopefully it will migrate south next year.

I have been told by many the Tow mirrors have not changed from the 2014 ones to 2019 ones ):. They are saying tow mirrors still are not electric powered fold still have to fold manual and with no 360. In order to have power folds and 360 you must have the power fold non towing mirrors.

Your new truck is awesome and I hope its all good for you except for changing out the mirrors. On my 2014 I can tow flat bed trailers,Pontoon boats and never have to manual fold out my tow mirrors, but when I tow the Travel Trailer camper I must have the fold outs to see.
