Love my Katzkin. No issues at all with them. I have had them installed now for approximately 2 years. Also in a Big Horn package.

I also in December had Katzkin leather installed just like these seats in my 2012 RAM Crew Cab front and back by the dealership I purchased my truck from. Excellent investment for my truck. Total was $1,148.36. Took 4 hours and they picked up and delivered at my work.

Those Katzkins look nice. I had never heard of Clazzio covers prior to seeing them mentioned in this thread. They also look really nice. For me personally, it would be a tough choice between the two. Good luck to OP on making a decision.

Oddly enough, I had OEM leather in my previous RAM. It held up well and looked good, but the older I got the more I disliked my buns getting cold in winter. And I'm too poor to afford heated seats! :p For my current RAM, I specifically chose cloth. I don't drive much and I'm usually the only person in my truck, so the cloth doesn't get dirty...and my buns don't get cold.

I grew up with two brothers who worked at their dad's upholstery shop. I've hung around their shop and seen how much work it is to install seat covers. Consequently, if I ever decide to install leather covers at some point in the future, I would pay for installation! I'm sure I could do it myself, but it looks to be a time-consuming pain, and I would probably always be critical of my work.

Had my Katzkins installed in my Lone Star before I took delivery. So far I’m very impressed with them.

I had them installed in my 2015 1500. They were pretty awesome and I was able to pick stitching colors (Blue for law enforcement) :). And leather patterns. I seriously think the quality is better than the OEM. I was lucky that a friend of mine works a a dealership so I got an awesome price. Sorry I couldn’t find any pictures. I know I took soon. :/

I love my Katskiz's!! 2nd truck I've had them put in. I can turn a wrench but I'm not about to try and tackle leather.

I miss the leather seats and Navigation I had in my Tundra. Is it worth installing leather seats into my 2014 Ram Big Horn? What can I replace power head with for navigation. Only 62,000 miles in mint condition. Love everything else about my Big Horn.

There are several placed here in Houston that convert entire vehicles from cloth to leather. The on I've used several time installs a very high quality product for under 2 grand, AND all of it is leather, not just seating surfaces trimmed in "pleather". I've always been pleased!

What color Katzkin is the closest match to the grey center console lid?

If you have a Ram dealer (or Katzkin) near you the parts department should have a Katzkin sample book that you could try and match? I know my dealer had one anyway.

Got some seats installed back in April in my 2017 Ram 1500 Big Horn. They look amazing. The inside of my truck now feels more "luxury" than before when I had cloth. My only complaint would be the decreased effectiveness of the seat warmers. I can barely feel them now unfortunately. Customer service for Katzkin told me that there is a seat setting that can be changed by the manufacturer from cloth to leather. However, Ram dealership in my hometown said that no such setting exists. So, if you are considering getting these seats, just know that if you have seat warmers, they will not work the same as before.

Suggest you get another dealer that is more knowledgeable.

If you have AlfaOBD, go into:
Car Change Config then type in seat. Scroll down and select between base leather / perforated leather or cloth

You aren't wrong about finding another dealer! But this helps. What is AlphaOBD? Is this something that i could do myself?

AlphaOBD is a software package that allows you to turn on different options. For example I bought fog lights and installed with a factory switch. I used AlphaOBD to turn on there ability for my switch to turn the lights on and off and also changed the setting to allow them to stay on with high beam. You need the software, a dongle that you send the settings into your truck from your phone or computer, and for 2018 up a security bypass cable.

Read through this for ideas. https://www.ramforum.com/threads/alfaobd.123982/

If you do get it, BACKUP YOUR SETTINGS first.

Added the link I meant to add.

If anyone has the factory takeoff covers for a 18 Quad cab (gray 40/20/40 front with center pull-down and bench rear) and want to part with them….I have a few dollars with your name on them!

Never been a fan of leather. My cloth seats are a little worn from the kids ****…and I’d love to replace them with fresher ones.
