Keep overall tire size the same with 17" wheels

Hey guys,
I am anxiously awaiting delivery of my 2013 Longhorn with air ride suspension, and I need to change wheels/tires on it right away for my job.

What tire size do you recommend to prevent rubbing when the suspension in full park mode?

what do you mean you need to change the wheels and tires for your job.

from the title i assume you are getting 20's with the truck and want to switch to 17's. The stock tires on 20's are 33" tall so to get a 17" wheel with a tire close to that would be 285/70/17. Would only be a little bit wider but shouldn't rub at all as long a you don't get wheels with more backspacking than the stock wheels

I work oilfield sales and I need to switch to a 10 ply tire due to hazards in the field.

So if I wanted to push the envelope and go a little taller, what would be my max tire height?

285/75R17 would bump you up in height yet keep a respectable width.
Not sure they made that in a 10 ply.

Too bad you're so far away, I'd sell ya my stock 245/70R17 10 plys.
They are too damned small for my taste.

It will fit nicely w/ only the possibility of minimal rubbing.
