Keyless Entry?

I was curious on how I would be able to check to see if my truck was equipped with keyless entry from the factory? when i bought it, it didnt have the keyfob. but my truck does have PL,PW,PM and it is the SLT package. If my truck is equipped with it then it will be a lot cheaper than buying an aftermarket alarm. Also where would I buy a fob and how would I program it?

You can go into the dealership they should be able to pull up your vehicle with the vin number and see if it had a keyfob. They should also be able to reorder one for you. However my experience with that was i had a Hyundai Tiburon and they wanted as much as a new car alarm system for just the key fob. So thats up to you. A new system at least you will know what your getting.

What Hemi said - The Fob will be high as a giraffe's nuts and it just locks and unlocks your door. aftermarket alarms are reasonable and protect, start, roll-up windows etc...

I had the same problem. call your local dodge dealership and tell them you want to know if your truck came with a keyless entry. have you vin ready as they will ask for it. my key fob cost around $200
