Will you post all the information about the one you ordered? I would love to do this mod.

The one I purchased was just a 20" straight tube. I also bought a new radiator hose because my other one was looking a little ragged and figured a new one would work a little better.

The gates power grip heat shrink hose clamps that affix the tube to the rubber hose came with it. They also sent two LEDs, one for each side but like I said, I'm not crazy about the look it gives so I am fabbing a channel bracket for under the tube to inlay some strip LEDs.

Ok so I got my lights and slid them into the channel bracket I made and I have to say, I'm pretty happy. What do you think?

We'll I guess I'm in luck then since I didn't throw my stock hose away. Haha.

I wired it to a control module so I can turn the lights off and in with a remote control key fob.

Where are you getting the hood insulator? How do you find all the super cool stuff...

I do not have any of these on the truck yet but some of us ran them in our cars and then beat the **** out of em. Don't worry about their durability,that are solid.

Not a fan of the lights, but I guess if youre at a show and shine or something then maybe. So you can find your truck after looking around, just in case you lost it.

I haven't read any info about this, nor heard of it before. I guess if you ever need to see your coolant besides the resovoir its handy??

This mod is definitely form over function in my case but I know racers use the clear tube to see their coolant. Look for debris, air bubbles, etc.

I won't be driving around with the lights on. Lol. It will be for show only.
