I recently did a cam (mopar non mds ) and lifter (hellcat) on my 13 ram along with Diablo tuner that I ordered from MMX. I am no expert on these things but I have the tools and access to the right equipment to get the job done… why pay someone a weeks worth of wages when I can do it myself in 3 days right? I guess I’m a idiot along with a tight A$$. Anyways everything went super smooth. took my time with the job after a ton of research to make sure I knew what I was doing… fired the truck up ran great for around 200 miles on it and bam! super loud engine knock. First thing I noticed was high oil pressure at idle 54 psi was running 27 so I thought with the chewed up cam that I pulled out I was having oil restriction in the engine so today I did an oil flush and change still no luck my next step is to pull the valve cover and check push rods but I have a hard time believing such a failure would accure that far from the job being finished. Am I on the right track? Or am I missing something any advise would be greatly appreciated and if I find a bent pushrod what caused it. I took the 2.5 hours to remove the cab so I had plenty of room to work with and triple checked the push rods before finishing up
