Apparently I haven't been getting the notifications. It's STILL not done correctly. It's rigged for now. By rigged I guess I mean ran passive. And there's some white noise that has to be fixed as well. My tuner had a bad channel I guess. That's what they said. Encouraged me to try to get it fixed but I decided to just buy one from them. That way he could work with what he knew. I think the ps8 may have been a little complicated for him anyway. I had originally bought mostly arc equipment cause the guy I first intended to have install it is a dealer and familiar with their product. Ended up buying a moscani from them. I'm supposed to drop the truck back off Monday and have them wrap everything up. It does sound amazing for what it is at this point. They still need to get the headliner attached properly again as well. It's not all the way in by the rear view mirror. The subs had very little bass. I was much less than impressed. Perhaps my expectations are too high. Everyone has said the tw5's pound. I stuffed the box full of polyfill to take up some air space and it sounds much better. But the gain is way down because when he was installing he said he wasn't gaining bass by going up on the gain, so he has it way down. Now that it has more bass, and musical bass, he is going to turn it up when he tunes it. Of all the used equipment I bought these were my only problems. Sucks cause I bought the ps8 controller brand new for 350, and now it's worthless. Have 850 ******* in the ps8 altogether. I intend to post pictures once everything is done correctly. 0745586bc7ce5b49a0a434adf7b088d1.jpg

Everything is pretty much done. I am going to take it back to them for the white noise. It isn't as bad as it was when running passive, but it is still there and annoying. It sounds amazing. The imaging needs some tweaking I believe, but all in all I love it. It has kind of changed what I listen to. I enjoy several different types of music now that I wouldn't have (and have never even really given a chance) with a factory system. They let the less experienced installer try to flush mount my pedal commander. It really does not look very good. Which sucks cause I like the dude and I know he did his best. He also did the android auto USB mount under where the phones sit. Everything included in pictures. We did away with the molded (different colored) cover on the rear wall and they carpeted it, which looks much better in my opinion. He did a phenomenal job with the wiring. There's probably 300 ft of wire back there. Haha. Everything is neat, zip tied, tucked away, etc. Except what obviously has to be seen. We even found a perfect little spot in my overhead console to mount the mic, as I did not want it just up behind the visor or anything. It did take forever, I won't lie. They are a very busy shop and kept jumping off mine to get other small stuff knocked out. Not sure why all the pictures keep coming in sideways, hope they aren't too hard to look at.

At the risk of sounding reall dumb.... does your volume knob work?
Ha, yea. I actually have 3 volume controls now. The factory, the steering wheel, and the aftermarket unit.

I guess I'm not what sure to look for, but I liked the way the tweets came out. Of course I've never had them any other way. As for the pedal commander, I agree.

I'm not sure why my post about after a week didn't post. I typed out a long reply. Isn't showing on my end tho. And yea, I've spent over 5k in this shop. Not to mention the $3500-4k on equipment. No changes as of yet, but I just started the truck to head up there to see what needs to be done.

Its your truck and your money as long as you are happy in the end thats what matters.

IMO the amount you spent on labor you should have something nicer than a basic cut with a hole saw. In my days a basic install for a set of speakers would have been raised and angled a little and then finished with a grill (not being able to see the speaker itself).

So I demoed it for the first real time since I've had it. Had a buddy over who I know appreciates music and would be completely honest with me. He said he was extremely surprised at how amazing it sounds and it truly exceeded his expectations by far. We were up til 6 am having some drinks and listening to various genres and songs. Made me feel good about it. Said it was money well spent. What was real cool was we were not concerned about the volume level. However we did not disturb my neighbors. No cops were called. The sound deadening seems to be doing its job. Had a great night tho. Was awesome.
