Hello,
I have a 2008 Dodge 5.7 truck and it is leaking water under the back seat in that pocket area/storage area on the passenger side only.

I suspect the water is coming from the 3rd stop light seal. I have changed the light and weather seal but it’s still leaking.

I was wondering if you guys have seen this and maybe I have missed something? My next step was to remove the 3rd stop light and put a good bead of silicone around the light and try this.

I greatly appreciate any advise or help with this.

thanks

There is a drain hole in the bottom right and left side of back window. It's kinda hidden. Mine was plugged causing same leak into storage under back seat. I blew them out with air compressor. Fixed it. Search it up on YouTube

I had the same issue a few months back and found the drains for the sliding rear window clogged. I dont have an air compressor at home (yet) so I used a can of compressed air for keyboards. Worked fine. My truck is a 4th gen but the problem seems to span both 3rd and 4th.

Hello
Are the drain holes on the sliding rear window hard to locate? I haven’t checked these, but I certainly will.

Also I’ve been searching the cabin vents. These look to be inexpensive, but how is the best way to install these?

Thanks

They can be. 2 of mine were so full of crud that I couldn't see them. I had to feel for them with a pick to find them.

I have no experience with th cab vents, can't help you there.
