Looking to replace my license plate bulbs to LED to match the rest of the truck. Has anyone else done this and can you share where you got them from and what brand? Also I know they are a 194 T5, I assume that they have to be "mini", I am finding a lot of bulbs with the same base but they seem large and under 194 I see T10 and T15 bulbs. It is very confusing. Thank you in advance for your replies!

The ones from EnlightAuto are white. Great for the interior but I found them too bright for the license plate lights. You get a big white spot on the reverse cam. I have Philips LEDs now and even masked off the top 1/3 of the light openings.
I read on the forum somewhere AutoLED Corp is working on lower brightness LEDs for the plate lights.

I have superbrightled.com lights and it is plenty bright. It is just a single bulb and gives off more then enough light for the plate.

this is an old picture, but you can see the light output even in a lit garage, and that is 2 single LED bulbs. These lights do not interfere with the back up camera or anything. Just about perfect.

These in cool white.

I used 194/T10s and they are fine.
