I have the led light bar with the Cross pattern Daylight Running Lights. I Have already wired them up as the wiring came.
Nevertheless, I want them to only have power when the Sun is up during the day. I was going to simply run a hot wire from the cigarette lighter to the switch. Nevertheless I wondered if I could purchase a photo cell switch off of eBay
and put the photocell in the line between the cigarette lighter and the DRL switch?
If so would anybody have any suggestions where to mount this sensor?
I guess i could do it in the cab and or do it under the hood. If i do it under the hood i need find a power source under the hood. Currently the add a circuits i purchased for the fuse box do not fit into the slot. So i have to find another power source.
Any suggestions on this matter would be welcomed. Thanks.
