Been thinking about putting either a 40 or 50" double row of LED lights across the top of my truck, just above the windshield. Also playing with the idea of putting dual LED lights on each window pillar.

I have the same set-up on order for my Jeep and it's a no brainer to install those. However, I don't have a clue how or where to install the electrical wiring on the truck.

A friend of mine who is a mechincal engineer is drawing up a pretty good sized photo of my truck with those lights on it so it may give me a better idea of what it will look like.

Anybody ever done this and if so, any suggestions pro or con?

On another subject: Drove home last night (145 miles) in a pouring down rain storm. The &^%&^* headlights on my truck might as well been candles because I had one heck of a time trying to find the center and fog lines. Called Chrysler this morning and complained about them and asked if they had different lights I could install. Was told that what is on the truck is what they have and any other type of installed headlights would void the electrical warranty.

Went to the dealer and complained ~ he completely agreed that these lights should not have been installed. So he opened a "ticket" on the lights and sending that to Chrysler. Will see what happens.

Just a FYI. While looking in Oregon's Revised Statues under lighting, it clearly states that no vehicle with fog lights shall have "white lights." To be completlely legal while running with fog lights, they have to be a yellow color. Would really be interesting if I got a ticket running with OEM fog lights.
