I haven't seen this one but I went to Texas Throwdown a few weeks ago and their was a cummins dually their with "cummins" and 2 longhorn symbols on either side on the tailgate welded in, and behind the letterings their was an led bar. I have no idea how they got an led bar in the tailgate but it was badass.
Heres a pic, its not very good but if you soom you can see it

That led tail bar is cool on all. but I can't imagine a time where anyone would need that much light backing up lol

Looking at that truck I don't think any of it has to do with 'need' :roflsquared: I bet he doesn't get tailgated for very long though :favorites13:

I can't ever really see any practical use for it either, except for tailgaters like you said haha. I was just curious

Unless you're pulling out someone that's stuck or having a tailgate party... With the tailgate up? Not sure how that'd work so well.

You always say you never need that much light until you do. We were in my friends Ram last night backing out of a muddy trail and honestly that would have helped a lot since we couldn't see anything with just the reverse lights. We had to put one guy in the bed to look for small trees or deep holes. Doesn't look bad to do just cut the tailgate with a grinder and flush mount it. Maybe we will have to do that with the 40" bar he has after last night.

That would be great for us RVers for hooking and unhooking and other stuff to use it as a work light.

That's cool as crap! But I can't imagine what a body shop would charge to do that. I'm sure that eventually some redneck will just bolt one onto his tailgate. Heck, we got an idiot with an LED bar mounted directly on top of his hood!! LOL :puke::puke:
