I bought the cheap one off ebay and sealed it up with RTV, also hardwired it into the trailer hitch plug and i have had no problems.
Only thing is, is when you back up its red and white.

I just posted the same question a few weeks ago. The feedback I got was mixed, but said that Recon was pretty reliable.
I reviewed feedback on multiple web sites and found that Rampage and LEDGlow didn't get great reviews.
What I did see, universally, was that it's necessary to seal the ends (especially the wired end) of these bars to keep water out. Otherwise, they don't last long.
I just ordered a Recon Xtreme that should be here Tuesday. Hope it's a good one.

I have an ledglow and have no complaints. Easy install and good output.
