Darth, can you tell me the exact bulb you ordered from SuperBright for your reverse? I found the 194 can bus bulbs without a problem but, every 7440 bulb they have specifically says "No" for can bus...

Okay, so I'm guessing you have factory LED taillights? Because you use 7440s for those, and 921s for trucks without them.

Retro-solutions actually has 7440s that work well, and they're probably brighter than the SuperBrightLEDs ones. Here are those:

And you're right, I can't find a CAN-BUS one from SuperBrightLEDs. Mine uses 921s, and I failed to take into account yours might be different. Sorry about that. This one is the one I'd pick if I was willing to risk having to send it back:

But to tell you the truth, enough people have had good luck with the Retro-solutions ones, I'd go with those. Comparing the equivalent 921s, the Retro-solutions ones ended up being way brighter, because the bulbs are canted at an angle in the tallights, and the RS ones account for that, whereas the SBLEDs ones are all-around-emitters. Not sure if the situation is the same in yours or not, since you use the 7440s.

EDIT: If you don't have factory LED tails, then you need 921s instead of 7440s. Just say so and I'll throw you those links as well.

My bad, I probably should have stated that from the beginning. I do have the factory led tails, and the bulbs are at a 90 degree angle in the housings (if that makes sense).

Thanks for the Retro Solutions link, I'll just order those. That should take care of the error codes. The bulbs I found on SuperBright were VERY similar to the ones I previously purchased from DDM, so I was a little weary about ordering those and having to return them.

I bought a bulk buy of LEDs but some of them are burning out and not all matching colors,
just cheap quality.

I'm looking for an LED upgrade for all interior lights but I want them in red. I currently have some but they were cheap and aren't as bright as I would like. Anyone know of a quality site or company that would have some that are brighter?

Ok so now after reading all the pages and different threads I am officially lost!!I am looking to replace my dome light, reverse lights, cargo lights, and license plate lights with LED's. I have a '12 CC express so in the cab I just have the single overhead dome light not the map lights upfront or light in the back seats and my tail lights are regular not factory LED's. Anyone with the same truck do the upgrade and have the bulb types? I am probably going to go with superbrightled or vled as those are the ones i've seen the most reviews about. Thanks in advance for your help guys!

Are these 921's also good to use in the reverse lights? So far I have in the cart 2 of those 921's for the cargo light, 2 of the 921's for the reverse, the 4410 for the center dome light and 2 194's for the license plate lights. I just want to make sure I order the right bulbs and amount the first time. Thanks for the help!

Has anyone used the CAN-bus LEDs in place of the license plate, reverse lights, and cargo/3rd brake light from Super Bright LED? Getting ready to pull the trigger for my '11 1500 and just want to make sure there are no issues.

so have i. all interior lights and exterior lights are LED. Headlights are HID and high beam are still halogen. I need to find a good reverse LED because i have the 2013 OEM leds tails and the reverse bulb is different than my 2011 tails.
