Hey guys I just got a brand new ram warlock. Fore warning Im green when it comes to vehicles. This truck comes factory standard with a “ 1 inch suspension lift “. I would like to level the truck. The front is about 2.5 inches lower than the rear. Now my question is if the factory achieves that original lift with a spacer type , and if I get a 2.5 inch spacer to install, I’m assuming the original will have to be pulled out so I’m really only adding 1.5 inches. If they didn’t use a spacer to achieve that 1” can I still use the Moto- fab 2.5 front leveling kit?

thanks

The front is not lifted with a spacer.

Is your truck 4wd? Don't use a spacer get Bilsteins or another brand of lift struts and do it the way that you won't regret later.

yes the truck is 4wd thank you for the reply I’m going to do some research on lift struts now. What type of lift do you think the factory used?

The front struts on the factory raised ride height trucks have their lower spring seat slightly higher. It's the same way the Bilstein lift struts work, the 5100s just have more positions.

If you buy the OE replacement style (not made to provide lift) yellow Bilstein struts they have two stock positions, one for regular trucks and one for trx/outdoorsman/warlock trucks. The silver 5100 struts have 3 additional height options above that.

You asked me about this on another thread, I went with the ReadyLift arms and they were a good choice in hindsight, but I can't say that any other brand would have been any worse because of course I haven't had a reason to switch around and try them all.

Before installing the aftermarket arms I had Bilsteins at the 2.8" setting with stock arms, it was possible to align the truck but just barely, the camber cams at the bottom were at their furthest position so no further adjustment would have been possible to make up for wear or any other factor. After installing lift arms the alignment shop was able to put the cams back in the middle of their range so there's wiggle room to get a better alignment or make up for wear. In other words I think lift specific UCA's earn their keep if you've raised the ride height without a "full" (diff drop) lift kit.

☝️☝️☝️ this was the info I've been looking for. Just bought a warlock 4wd. My previous truck had 5100's loved how they rode and that's what I plan on doing with my warlock. Now I know for sure that I'll do uca's at the same time.

So just to clarify, if I want to level the front end of my Warlock, I not only have to get the 5100's but UCA's as well? Bah...
