I was looking through the threads and couldn't really seem to find anything on how a leveling kit without the UCA performed and held up. I am wondering if anyone has installed a kit like this and if it damaged the ball joints and CV shafts?
I understand that the way to go is the kit with a new UCA due to the new angles the leveling spacer will create but I pulled the trigger too quick when ordering some upgrades and didn't look too closely at the kit I was getting. I ordered the Pro Comp Nitro 2.5" leveling kit if anyone has any experience with this specific one.

With just a leveling kit you should have no problems ....
I'm also getting bigger rims and tires with it as well. Sorry I forgot to mention that earlier but I was under the impression that the leveling kit would change the way the OEM UCA would sit causing damage to the ball joints and other front end components. Thank you for the help I appreciate it im mainly asking to see if it would be worth it to swap it out for a ready lift kit with UCAs it will overall cause faster wear and damage

Doesn't hurt to upgrade them but from what I have seen it's not necessary

I have leveled 3 2500 trucks of my own using the Tuff Country 2" level kit with shock relocation bracket.

I put almost 100K miles on the first truck with the kit installed. No problems.

I only put 23K miles on the second truck with the kit installed. At that point it got totaled but again I had no problems.

I have the same kit on my third 2500 and am at 28K miles. No problems to report with it either.

Oh wow sorry about the second truck that's tragic it was beautiful. The new one is really nice as well though. Just to be safe I went and upgraded to the 3.5 ready lift kit with UCAs mainly because I've heard a lot about how the 5fh gens are weird and I'm ultimately just trying to play it as safe as possible. It also helped that 4WP had the exact kit in stock that fits my truck and my tires and rims are almost there and time is a huge factor. I can't order another kit because I'm leaving the city where I'm working in a little over a week and I'm getting everything put in where I'm working currently.
Overall huge appreciation to them for working with me and allowing me to just exchange parts no problem and only have to pay the difference between the two.

A friend at a FCA dealer said that the "level kit" they install, which is the same basic puck on the front, has caused no issues and said he has never seen a failure or any warranty issues with just the basic level... But that, of course, isn't the "FCA Gospel"... so YMMV
