Alright guys, I've been struggling with this for awhile...I need some input from people that have been through this.

I have an 09 trx4, I am getting a tune ordered within the next week or so, I plan to be aching a lift relatively quickly. Here's my dilemmas...

MPG is not a huge concern to me..however, I read of people averaging 14-15 after lift and tires...I average 13 now with stockers on..wtf am I doing wrong?! Is something wrong with my truck?

Next dilemma...I have 3.92 gears, I want to roll with 35 a/t aggressive tires...would they look too small with a 6"lift? It seems like the majority of people run 37's with the 6. I do not do much off roading at all, and if I do, it is very minor. If you have pictures I'd love to see them, I've went through the lifted truck thread, but can't pinpoint what I want.. thanks guys.

35's with the 6'' lift is pretty common also, and still looks really good !. The 3.92's you have wont have any issues getting the tires rolling, but you may notice your truck to be slightly more sluggish compared to the factory tires, which is to be expected with heavier tires + diameter increase.

there is so many varying factors on mpg, so its hard to determine. I drive all city, and when I mean city... I mean Philadelphia stop and go every other block, so thats why I get like 10.5-12.5 mpg depending on what time of year / weather...

Your 3.92s are keeping your rpms higher to maintain highway speeds. Going to a larger tire will drop the Rpms you're running at the same speeds so it may actually help in theory. I get better with my at 37s than my factory and 35s at around 65. On factory my sweet mpg spot for rpms was low 50mph. With 35s it was around 55-58 now its low 60-65mph.
Of course way worse mpgs in the hills and stop and go to get then rolling. That's also with 3.55s with mild mods and conservative driving I'm averaging 14-15 unless I am in town.

Trick's to keep the hemi below 2 grand if mpg is a concern.

I think the tune will help with the "sluggish" feeling going up to 35's. I recently found out I'm on 3.55 rear end, so disappointed.

As for the lift you want, it's really up to how high you want to go IMO. I'll be setting close to 6" in the front when all said an done on 35's. I would like to add the 6" suspension lift to my level and body lift and go to 37's, but I drive a lot and can't justify unless I buy a work car, lol.

Maybe I need help understanding my gearing, why is it keeping my RPM's higher at highway, because it's geared for towing so not made to go 70-75? I typical cruise from 65-75. Why will buffer tires drop my RPM at higher speeds? Thanks guys, this is helping.

The larger tire actually covers more ground per rotation vs. your smaller factory tire. Giving it a advantage mechanically at different speeds. However the added weight and diameter means you will burn more fuel getting up to those optimal speeds.

^ yup. More distance traveled per axle rotation.

Add some bolt ons man. With a 6 " kit and 37s I was averaging 8.8 MPG. After I bought an 87 mm throttle body, vararam intake, and a diablo I have climbed all the way back to 11.7. So if you want to get decent mpg, just add a few bolt ons from moe. They were relatively inexpensive for what they accomplished

So with the trx being 1"taller already, will 35 at's look too small with a 6"? I have a big concern with that happening lol. Such a big purchase I don't want to screw it up.

My pw sits even higher than yours stock. I have a 6" with 37s. And had to trim a good bit. So I would say no.
