I have never put one on, but that looks scary. Did that shock(?) eat part of the tire?

Yep. Its just a typical steel coil spacer. Very common. Measure the thickness of it…thats the amount of lift.

Thanks, truck is new to me, he has 295’s installed but still is much taller than my previous which was a 2013

LOL those tires are the definition of chopped from bad alignment and lack of rotation

Nothing wrong with the tires, they are practically brand new
