Ive been tryig to look into lifting my front end to level out the truck. Whats the easiest option? I see everyone talking about the bilstein 5100, is that really all yu need to level/lift it? Also whats this lift and body lift i see everyone doing what is a body lift all about? Any help would be extremely awesome, thanks guys

Yeah bilsteins will level it, most set em at 2.1 or 2.8. Body lifts are just for show not so much off road capabilities, and are cheaper.

Nah im not tryin to offroad lol but i just watched a vid of a guy doin a bodylift i wasnt a fan of the look. Are bilsteins easy to install? And are rear shocks necessary to go with em, or would it be good to throw on? I talked someone somewhere else they said theyre only for 4x4 s is that true lol i hope nit

Bilsteins are not all that easy to install. It requires compressing the coil over. If you are mechanically inclined it can be readily done. You do not need shocks in the back. They are nice but not necessary even for off road.

If your guys can do that then you can handle the install.

^^^ Actually these 4th gen rams hide body lifts very well. I have a 3" body lift on my truck and cant even really tell its a body lift. It hides the frame much better than older trucks like the Chevy Z-71 etc.. and yes bilstien 5100's is all you need to level it.

bilstein 5100's are a popular option for leveling but not the only option. If money is an issue look into hell bent steel. Considerably cheaper.

i have the 2" hbs spacer and if there is a difference in ride quality it is very minimal because I don't notice it.

So how can i do a lift level? Or is my only option to lower the rear end to level it?

I personally have the 2.5" Rough Country level on my Ram. I love the way it sits now. You can see some pics in the album I created in my profile, I would post them up here but I don't have my computer with the pics near me.

Without checking their website, I'm fairly certain I remember seeing 4X2 kits when I last was on there to buy my kit.

I have a 2.5 inch rough country leveling lift and a performance accessories 3 inch body lift on my truck. The rough country lift comes with a rear spacer that brings the back up by an inch and the front up by 2.5 inches. The 4 Gen rams hide body lifts so you can't see the frame rail. I attached a pic so you can take a look. I never plan on going off road so suspension lifts weren't really a necessity for me. The spacers and the body lift also prevent you from having to modify the drive train so you don't void your factory warranty.
