I hate to add to the already existing long list of lift threads but also did not want to hijack anyone's thread. Just hope to get some guidance. I traded my 17 Rebel in for 19 4x4 Laramie. The Laramie definitely seems very low. My dealer has quoted me $1800 for the Mopar 2 inch lift installed. Is this a good deal or are there better options? I did think about a 2 inch level kit but also want the rear lifted at least another inch. I appreciate any guidance or help.

That seems to be the going rate if you solely are entertaining using Mopar parts. There are several who have gone with other brands and they’ve gotten exactly what they want.

This is the mopar 2 inch lift? Looks good but there appears to be little to no rake. I was concerned that the rear would be too high when compared to the front, but this looks very good. Thanks.

Do you know off the top of your head what the other brands are? Is there a big difference in price? I have thought about buying on line and having my local shop install the lift. Would this be too risky? Thanks for your response and insight.

There’s Rough Country, ReadyLift, CST, and as far as cost I’m thinking the ReadyLift is around $800.00

As far as letting your local shop do it, from my understanding they aren’t that complex to do an install on. Just make sure you have an alignment done afterward.

Much appreciated. I think I will go with the ready lift option and have my local shop do it.

Yes it is too much for stockers. This is mine with 3.5. They are now my winter wheels and tires until they are wore out. My summer tires are 35’s

Thanks. Bet that looks great with the 35's. Mine just looks too much like a low rider. I paid way too much money for it to look that way (not that there is anything wrong with low riders but its not my kind of truck). I grew up in South Georgia so the higher the better. I will be adding the Mopar 2 inch lift on Monday. Hopefully it will be enough for the time being.

Went with the 2 inch Mopar lift. Very happy with it. Drives the exact same and looks a lot better.

I’m sorry is that photo with or without the 2” lift ?
Ouch man that hurt. Yeah its a little more subtle than I would have liked but the pictures don't do it justice. In person it is significantly better than it was and I am not ready to pony up for new tires, yet, so it will do for the time being.

Oh no I’m sorry I wasn’t trying to be funny. It’s just both photos seem to be in the exact same location.

No offense taken. I actually thought it was funny because after looking at it, I fully expecting that kind of comment. I took the picture at the same spot to try to see the difference. The picture actually makes it look like there is no difference. IN person, it does look noticeably higher. No regrets with the Mopar.

I’m not sure if you know this, but I also have the Mopar 2” lift. Got it right after I purchased the truck and now am looking for tires to go onto my Rebel wheels.739bfeb09eabddedbd30947925fae1d0.jpg9f14e3f9cdfab111141ff234fcdcaa2e.jpg

Please post some pictures when you get the tires for the rebel wheels. I was thinking about trying to pick up some rebel wheels just the other day. I had a 2017 Rebel and really liked the look of the wheels. Would love to see how the new non rebel rams look with them.

Actually my friend on here has a set on his 2019 Laramie, he’s known on here as Accountant.
