Lifter adjustment ?

Back in the day...
Pull valve cover,start engine,find loose lifter,tighten till rattle stops,another 1/4 turn,new gasket,on the road...

Still apply ?

Not on magnum engines. They don’t have adjustable rockers. The adjustment happens hydraulically in the lifter itself. If you have a really noisy one, it’s likely that the lifter or possibly a valve spring or the cam is bad.
