I had a local pro apply Modesta BC08 coating to my 2023 1500 Limited this week...details of the coating below. I had some luck at the casino so decided to treat myself with a completely unnecessary purchase. Love the look and deep shine...supposed to extend the life and luster of the paint which is why I wanted to get it done while it was still fairly new (only 2900 miles on it). The guy told me that it doesn't really protect against scratches or chips but it will make cleaning it much easier to maintain a long lasting shine. Also, had BC-06 applied to wheels. Took almost 3 days to complete the application including a full day of prep. I was able to check out a few cars he had done to see his work...also does full wraps and PPF. He does really nice work...he is located in Foxboro, MA....https://affluentautostudios.com/

BC-08
Neosillica Matrix Coating
An easy coating for quick application on daily driven vehicles. Traces of zirconium create great shine and luster on the paint while it's three dimensional matrix ensures excellent water repellency and self cleaning. The coating's thick layer acts as a self scarifying barrier to protect the finish of the vehicle from scratches and marring as well as adverse environmental effects

BC-06
Heat Resistant Hard Glass Coating for Wheels & Body
Creating a hard glass coating with a tightly packed molecular structure that creates a long-lasting surface. BC-06 is applied with a spray gun and is heatproof up to 1,300°C – enough to protect wheels from burning-hot brake dust.

I have to wait two weeks before I can clean it with any type of soap to allow coating to completely cure...will be tough to wait since its heavy pollen season around here now so doesn't take long for a nice coating of yellow dust to accumulate. I guess I'll just have to drive fast and let the breeze do the work for awhile. Pics don't really do it justice.

You are going to love that coating! I always use BC06/BC04. Dont wash it for at least two weeks. If you need any help or questions with maintaining it hit me up. Its what I do. There is something about BC06 as the base coat that totally locks in a different shine level.

I'm loving it...every time I walk out to the garage I can't help but stop to admire the deep shine with a big dumb smile on my face.

I plan to follow all directions and recommendations for taking care of it including no baths for at least two weeks. The guy that did it wants me to come back in after two weeks so he can do the first wash as part of the service. He is all business when it comes to taking care of it...sounds like you're the same. I will def hit you up if I have any questions...thanks for the offer!

Take him up on that demo wash we do it as well. It will teach the two bucket method. Once you do it once, its not hard at all to do it your self. I did my wifes Jeep in 30 minutes today. My new pressure washer came today, so tomorrow the Ram gets another bath... I washed it and it came a down pour the next day...

Will do...I've heard of the two bucket method for washing and rinsing but I've never done it. I usually take it to a touchless car wash...I give it a high pressure rinse to get most of the dirt off first then run it through the touchless wash. I'm sure a good wash using the two bucket method will be more effective.

Its amazing how washing your truck always seems to attract rain the next day.

Oh it is. I cleaned mine up on Wednesday. The next day it came a downpour. I washed my wifes Jeep. It rained this morning.

I had a ryobi, but after two of them not making it past the 1.5 year mark, I ordered this one with a 3 year warranty. I will let you know how it works this week. I am waiting for the rain chances to go down.

That looks like a decent unit. Westinghouse is an established old name, if it's the same. I kinda went overboard myself, like folks into hobbies and interests, you go deeper than you need to. But part of the rush is the researching/placing orders/watching tracking. Lol
I bought my pw and didn't even touch it once last summer, did all hose washes, lol.

Thanks, I really appreciate the recommendation on what to use. Looks like I will be adding a few items to my cleaning and detail supplies.

I am fortunate I can keep in the garage when at home which obviously helps keep it clean a bit longer.

I will let you know how it works today. As soon as this light rain goes away, I will be washing my truck lol.

You can always use reload every quarter and then once a month use Carpro Elixir its there high gloss detailer for Ceramic coatings. Just watch it. If it suddenly stops performing, the coating maybe clogged. Then you will need expert help to unclog it. Its not hard, just another product to use lol.
