Was about to change my filters at 7000 miles, noticed some oil on my oil pan and underneath the bell housing, I've read about the rust preventive coating but I'm not sure if that's what it is. It's very minimal, and I can kinda see a small amount of "pooling" on one of the corners of the oil pan by the foam pad. Last photo is with a UV light shining on a spot. What yall think?

If it was a general undercoating you would be able to see it in other places. If you are just seeing it on the pan, which it does look like oil, that would be my guess. Warranty work for the dealer.

This may just be some leftover from assembly.
I would wipe it clean , then more photos, then after a few miles , another inspection.
More photos if still leaking .
Then you have things to discuss with the service writer.

Is wipe it dry and see if it comes back. What color is the motor oil, typically diesels will turn the motor oil jet black fairly quickly, if you have a leak it would probably be darker than what's there.

Yeah it's mainly on the back of the oil pan and it seeps to the bottom of the bell housing.
Take it to the dealership to be on the safe
Planning on it

Was hoping it was that but I'm starting to think it's oil. 3rd time wiping it down, gonna look at it again tomorrow and if it builds up again I'm gonna have to take it in.

Looks pretty much the same as my engine oil. Weird thing is I can smell my oil on the dipstick, but when I wipe down the oil underneath I can't really smell it? I know the rust preventative coating is usually light brown, this is much darker, but with the engine getting hot, road grime etc it could be changing color, but not sure.
