Hi all,
I have almost 2K miles on my new 22 Ram Big Horn 4x4, night addition and I have a couple questions and quirks. I’d like to see if others have seen the same thing. Sorry for the length, but it’s easier in one posting.
I lose the radio control button function on the left side of the steering wheel from time to time. That would be for scrolling through channels (up and down) and scrolling through pre-sets (the button). I find if I rest the radio (holding in the volume and power buttons for 10 seconds), the function comes back. Happened twice so far. I think it might have to do with using the buttons while in the google maps, but I’m not sure.
Another odd thing is the backup camera goes out sometimes. It will be fine, then it will flash and go to a blue screen. I can go in and out of reverse, and it does not come back on. After the truck is actually off for some time, it works fine. Happened a few times now.
Now just a question…. How is the average MPG calculated? Seems pretty straight forward, miles driven divided by gallons used. But it seems like the “average” displayed changes way to quick to be an actual average. I’m thinking it’s weighted or used with time driven, or something like that. I can start out at 15 MPG and within a 10 to 20 miles be up to 17 MPG. No way that can be an actual average. BTW, I’m hoping the mpg gets a little better, but I have 3.92 gears, so I’m not too sure about that and I’m using 87 gas.
Anyway, thanks for reading. Any insight is appreciated.
