As much as a pain as they are to install I'd personally rather just install them once.
The trucks are easy to do long tubes on,you need to put a set of long tubes on a Challenger or Charger, then you'll look at the truck install in a differant light.I'd rather do 3 or 4 sets of long tubes on the trucks in comparision to doing 1 set on the cars, lol

ARH and SW do not need any denting done to the primaries
There's been a few reports lately of ARH's breaking welds and rubbing on the brake lines.Since Covid quality control seems to have left the building

I’m using my stock my dipstick as well.
I guess paying through the nose saved you from tapping the primary with a hammer LOL keep your cats?
Got the high flow catted y pipe. I’m not a fan of loud and raspy. Honestly I would swap my catback out for the quieter version if I was to do it again. It’s not really loud now though just with headers it’s definitely louder than before headers.

Somewhat related, thought I'd just post this here.

Has anyone heard a 4th gen hemi next to a 5th gen and heard any difference in the exhaust? I swear the 4th gens are "more polished", with the 5th gen having a tickier/raspier sound.

Is that what you are referring to @crazykid1994?

Or is there something I can do to quiet mine down? I like a slightly more aggressive exhaust, but it has to be that rumble/crackle and not the ticky/raspy do-I-have-a-whole-in-my-pipe-somewhere?? type of sound.

Makes sense, waiting to hear mine. Will be another week or so. No catback, just resonators and tips. Maybe it won’t be terrible.

Positive thoughts! Im hoping mine stays about the same…Im no resonators, 18” MF w/ Corsa 5” tips. Mine dump at the bumper corners.
Same here, good luck! I like the look of the larger exhaust tips, wonder does it alter the sound much?

I have the borla s type catback which is their louder kit fit out trucks but it’s more of a medium loudness in my opinion. And actually I was referring to how a larger through type muffler sounds vs straight pipe. The cats and large muffler reduce the crackle and drone from the engine quite well. I had a carven progressive muffler before the borla catback and it was just a touch too raspy for me. That was pre headers too. Had a nice tone though. The borla catback made the truck a touch quieter but had a deeper more aggressive almost growl like sound.
