Yea once a year lowes has mulch for $1 a bag.. i just stalled an above ground pool and i want to pretty it up some..so why not a whole ski.. thats about 2300lbs by my math..
It would of been much better if i didnt have the carpet in the bed then they would of pushed the skid forward but i didnt want to remove my bed rug.

that's about the number one reason to not have a truck. those friends will also ding the hell out of your truck while helping them and not care one bit because "it's just a truck"

why you buy bags? I get a scoop for $25.00 at the nursery. in my bed fit 2 scoops- $50.00 covers everything around the house.

70 bags of mulch on the skid..
Wow, they asked me at Lowes a few years back if they could fork lift the pallet onto the back of the truck. I told them to take a hike. I didn't want to risk it.

I loaded 30 bags by hand and the truck squated really bad.

I have unloaded peoples stuff in the middle of the yard and left for that... a couple years ago, family for that matter! Seriously, don't ever abuse my **** and then try to justify it. :flipthebird:

see that's why i usually refuse to help people move stuff which of course makes me an ******* for some reason but whatever. the odd time i do help i insist on loading it myself so of course it needs to be something i can load myself

i've seen people doing way too much stupid **** such as being too lazy to drop the tailgate or trying to throw things over the side only to bounce it off and leave a nice dent. when you call them on it they get all offended and say **** like "it's just a truck" and "trucks are meant to be beat up". those same people are usually driving around in some piece of junk worth $5000 or less. i have no tolerance for people that can't respect my stuff especially when i'm doing them a favour

i use my truck for farming and various other things so i know full well it will get dings here and there but there's a big difference between me doing it(and getting pissed at myself) then some ******* being careless then getting angry at me because HE damaged MY truck

I use the bed of my pickup truck for tool storage.
The utility trailer gets the workout. Everything from carrying riding mowers to hauling floor tile, lumber, pallet of sod, sandy clay material. I'd much rather tear up an $800 trailer than my truck.

On a slightly different slant.....I too love my truck. Actually, I enjoy driving it more than my Mercedes. Go figure.

I just got my truck last Monday and other than taking the my Mercedes to work it hasn't moved but I like driving them both for different reasons

To the comment about the assholes abusing your truck it doesn't matter if I have a brand new $40K or a $2K beater truck if it isn't yours treat it with respect.
