And you'll always have friends - that need help moving.
Bags are easier to manage. And if i have extra i can keep some on the side of the house.
thats the recommended payload.. what do the engineers know..HAHA

Wow, they asked me at Lowes a few years back if they could fork lift the pallet onto the back of the truck. I told them to take a hike. I didn't want to risk it.70 bags of mulch on the skid..
that's about the number one reason to not have a truck. those friends will also ding the hell out of your truck while helping them and not care one bit because "it's just a truck"

I have unloaded peoples stuff in the middle of the yard and left for that... a couple years ago, family for that matter! Seriously, don't ever abuse my **** and then try to justify it.![]()
I use the bed of my pickup truck for tool storage.
The utility trailer gets the workout. Everything from carrying riding mowers to hauling floor tile, lumber, pallet of sod, sandy clay material. I'd much rather tear up an $800 trailer than my truck.
On a slightly different slant.....I too love my truck. Actually, I enjoy driving it more than my Mercedes. Go figure.
