No kit will work correctly in projectors. LEDs are terrible in projectors. You either need to buy a new hid kit that works better. Get the Morimoto xb led with projectors designed for LEDs or go back to halogen. I do not recommend going from hid to led

what sort of HID kit do you have?

The Morimoto kit I installed in my factory projectors has been rock solid.

Honest...check out the Morimoto kits. I've had them on three trucks and I've not had one fail me...well, except for this pair:

I have a HID kit for projectors available in the “For Sale” section.

Make me an offer, it’s brand new never installed.

I’ve got the Xenon Depot 4300K HID kit in my current Laramie and this summer will be two years and I haven’t had a single problem. Had the Diode Dynamics 5K HID kit in my 2015 Laramie and it’s still going strong almost 4 years later. I would definitely stay away from anything Amazon or Ebay regardless of how expensive it is.

The site says the bulb is the XB 9012. Above is a picture of the boxes containing the bulbs. The box is marked “H Series” but I am fnot sure if it’s the H-1 or not. Jeremy of RetroShop, who sold me this kit, is a member of this forum. If you send him a message he can advise if this will work in your aftermarket system.

I got the standard HID kit from DDM Tuning. Great product, good price, and they warranty their product if they ever fail. Also they have a shop 1 mile from me which is awesome.

DDM tuning hid's any good?
I have them. No issues so far. I used alfaobd to configure the hid setting and they've worked perfectly since day 1. I bought the mid range ballast (plus?) And upgraded bulbs. Less than $80 USD out the door not including alfaobd
