Low beam out message

I did a cluster swap and it's telling me my low beam is out... I have hid with a relay so there is nothing plugged in to my passenger side OEM connection. Anyone have any solutions?

Did the HID cause an error code prior to the cluster swap? I assume there is no resistor with your relay harness. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/c...on-relay-wire-harness-50460.html#.VzHuRVL2bcs

Did you swap with a cluster from the same model year as your truck? I seem to remember some model years being more sensitive to HID conversions on whether or not you get a message.

if you have a 13-14 you have 2 options:

-use a reputable canbus error eliminator and drive the ballasts from the oem wiring
-install a resistor on both sides so the truck sees a load and stops displaying the error (I did this on my 14)

if you have a 15, I think the only thing you can do is run resistors to simulate an accurate bulb load.
