here is what is happening (its long), I have a 2014 3500 with the quad headlights first I bought a highbeam plug extension/jumper spliced it instead of factory wiring to trigger my lightbar relay that was 2 yrs ago and I never had any issues, everything works through a toggle switch so I can decide to use the lightbar or not but only on highbeams. Recently a lowbeam went out so i upgraded to led's with a resistor on each side they work nicely no flicker no message until i hit highbeams then i get the message that a lowbeam is out but both my lowbeams are still working fine as well as highs. I went 2 hours with the high beams on without using low and no problems flicked to low and then back to high and the lowbeam msg comes back on.
Is there any concerns ie: will this cause serious issues with my computer or is it just an indication that if i can live with it then all is good?
