I have a 2015 1500 RWD. Currently running 37s with a 6 inch lift and body lift. My driver side ball joint went out and has been squeaking bad. Would it be easier to just replace the lower control arm instead of just the ball joint? Also what brand should I go with and is it difficult to do?

If you have the tools pressing in new ball joints will be cheaper but more time consuming. I need to do my second set. Driver's side always fails first on mine also.

Only if you drive the truck hard and offroad.

But yeah. I'll be on my second set here shortly. They seem to last about 60,000 ish miles

I'm about to do a 4" lift kit on my 2012 2wd and curious about this myself - any suggestions on what UCA and LCA assemblies are worthwhile?

Not trying to hijack thread but seems the original question is still unanswered - thanks!
