I've done some deep googling and forum hunting and come up with nothing. I understand that our stock LCA angles dont need any correction with adjustable struts, but cosmetically/lust for overbuilt gear has me hunting.

When I get my prerunner bumper on, they are going to be exposed for everyone to see and the stock units look a little wimpy.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket skid plate for the stockers or a boxed steel/aluminum type job? The only ones i know of are the Mevotech TTX with the FDE/Sand colored finish.

I will post a pic of the bumper i bought, which coincidentally looks like they have some kind of boxed lower arms... maybe its some kind of long travel setup?

As far as I've seen there's nothing like that unless you run long travel which gets you boxed lower arms. Add in to that our arms are aluminum and it's not overly easy to reinforce them.

The offroad aftermarket for RAM 1500’s is a piece of crap. Check how many actual skids there are for example for the Toyota Tacoma or Tundra, and yes they have skids for the lower control arms, even skids for the alignment cam tabs for those who like to get their ifs in the rocks, ask me how I know :)

I wish I was good with a torch and tin bending arts, I can drill and I can go all ninja on metal chit, but I have no idea how to bend metal sheet and more importantly how to weld. I’m working on on it YouTubing how to fabricate your own skid plates, the offroad aftermarket doesnt even have a middle finger for us RAM 1500 in this regard, lol.

We should start a freaking company like CBI, or Pelfreybuilt for rams.
