lowering/wheel and tire combo question?

I have a 2009 Crew cab and am gonna do a 2/4 drop on it and am wondering how a set of 22x9.5 wheels are gonna fit? they have a +20mm offset, will they stick out any? im not familiar with the whole offset thing, thanks for any info

That is a perfect wheel size and offset. I would go with a 305/40/22 tire, and you will be set.

Which lowering kit are you looking at? I would recommend the Belltech Street Performance kits. Bang for buck, they are very tough to beat when you consider that they come with quality shocks.

Sweet I was just wondering the same thing I'm going to drop mine as soon as my air lifts come in so it will be next week I'm going with a 2/4 bell tech with the nitro 2 shocks

If you're not planning to go any lower I would go with a 305/45/22 just to fill the wheel wells a little better.

That's way too much offset unless you wanna run 1" spacers.

I agree with Tyler. That wheel would be tucked way into the fender and might even make contact on the back side of the wheel. Try to stay in the +15 to +25mm range.

Ok thanks guys. Yea, I don't really know all that much about the wheels and tires for our truck. I saw some liquid metals that look really good.
