2014 Ram, 5.7 Hemi, 53,000+ miles. Already had one broken manifold bolt replaced under warranty. Now out of warranty & another broken bolt.
1) What’s a guaranteed solution to stop this problem.
2) Can I drive my truck without causing any damage until I get the repair/s done ?
TIA

The 100% guaranteed way of fixing this issue is install shorty headers. The cause for bolt heads breaking off is the cast iron manifolds warping.

Headers will not warp and you can upgrade to stronger bolts at this time too.

Yes you can still drive your truck for now until it is fixed

or re surface/grind your old ones flat they will not re warp. I did mine with a belt sander from harbor freight.

Just like @jws123 posted earlier, if you dont want to switch to a shorty or long tube header, get your hands on a belt sander or a long, wide roll of emory cloth and sand them flat. Once you do it you wont have another broken bolt. I have done this to so many customer trucks just to get them to stop breaking bolts.

So theory is that the manifold will not warp again, since it's gone through heat/cold cycles?
That's what my repair shop is telling me. By the way the truck is getting both sides done at a little under 50k. But, it's 2014, so 6 months out of warranty...:fca5278d:

Don't feel bad, they still haven't fixed the problem by all accounts.

I have seen people on here with newer trucks ******** about broken bolts.

Mine was broken out of warranty but I still had the power training warranty and they fixed it both times under that.
