MDS Disabled with Tuner

So I tuned the truck with the basic out of the box 87 tune on the t2 till i have one done and I chose to disable the MDS. When I was in the settings screen it showed a green check mark next to it after I disabled and did the on/off key routine but going do the road I noticed the ECO light would come on and off still. Now since I have not really drove it far since I did it does the ECO light still flash and the truck is running on all 8 or did it not take you think? I did notice when leaving the light the light went of like usual but then came back on when I let off the gas. Before when I wanted to stay on all 8 I would just flip it to manual and leave it in 6th.

The eco light does not mean MDS is active. The eco light just means that you are driving in an eco manner. The eco light can come on with our without mds activation.

Well learn something new everyday. I just was confused since it never comes on when I leave it in 6th. Thanks for the help.
