I believe they have 4 settings and this looks to be at the top. Can someone confirm that is the 2.8" spot. I wanted level at 2.1" so I would have less potential problems in the future. I looked because at times the front does look a little high.
If set at 2.8" do I have them correct it now? If I do not correct what would be the best option to change control arms as a preventative? The alignment seems on and I am yet to go off pavement. Just added Falkens at factory size. My 16 year old son will most likely end up using my truck the most and if he is anything like me as a kid prevention is the best medicine. 7b30eb145e0dab926a84c3c05c911ff2.jpg

There are 5 settings on the 5100. Your shocks appear to be on the 4th setting which would be 2.1". Usually the 2.1" sets the truck with a slight rake or level. It all depends on how high you truck sits in the rear from the factory. As far as control arms go you should be fine. Even if the shocks were set at the highest level they keep your suspension within the factory parameters so your ball joints should be fine. People start having issues when they use spacers to lift the front end which alters the suspension geometry and causes issues with the upper ball joints.

you shouldn't have issues. You have the 2014+ yr model where the UCA might have been an issue, but that's also in extreme off-road conditions, not street driving. 2.8 would likely leave you level, 2.1 leaves a little rake. I have 1.5" spacers to get that rake back on my 2.8 setting,

I set mine at 2.8 and my front end looked higher than the rear despite me putting in new rear springs. After a while it settled a bit lower and now looks great. Give it time to settle and it will probably look like you want it to.
